One day, Granzalk Castle is the subject of an ambush by the Evils of the Earth-profundities.

Amidst the wild battling, Ryle, a youthful disciple swordsman whose folks were both murdered in a past strike by the Evils, and who pledges revenge, ends up in the underground loads of the stronghold. In one of the aforementioned chambers, he uncovers a golem manufactured to restrict the Evils.

Thus the journey starts: Ryle takes the destiny of the kingdom on his shoulders, and, plus Denoas, the golem fabricated to restrict the Evils, sets off first to the town of the mythical beings...
